For Stephen, the idea of healing has been a prominent focus for him since early childhood. Little did Stephen know that at the age of six, life would be preparing him for his future purpose starting with the loss of his father. A growing journey through his youth was consumed with unanswered questions and curiosity which all would lead him straight to a pivoting point in his heart and life. After a nearly fatal car accident on November 6th, 2001, he was guided to seek alternative healing, which started with Reiki with Angels. In September of 2007 Stephen began studying at the Virginia School of Massage in Charlottesville, VA, where he was introduced to many modalities including: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Lymph Drainage, and Reflexology to name a few. Upon his graduation as CMT, he has continued his studies in the field. He has completed all three levels of Reiki training, Level I Craniosacral, and Integral Neuromuscular Stretching, as well as the Basic level of Vortex healingâ-Divine Energy Healing. He has also studied Creative Healing, a “hands-on healing” approach by Joseph B. Stephenson.
In March of 2011, Stephen will continue his studies in the field of alternative healing at the Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in Boulder, Colorado where he will be studying Rolfing. Rolfing is a hands-on manipulative therapy that works towards balancing the connective tissue matrix that supports human structure within the gravitational field.
Stephen knows this is only the beginning of where this amazing alternative healing road will carry him in his pursuit to contribute to the healing of others.
