Sarah Blehm, NCMTB
Since high school, Sarah has held an interest in pursuing a career in the medical arena; in addition, her personal interests have always drawn her toward a more holistic approach. These qualities attracted her to chiropractic care, originating with internships her senior year of high school.
She majored in biology, focusing on pre-medicine, at the University of Mary Washington, where she graduated in 2006 with a bachelor’s of science degree. Her senior year of college, she began working at The Spine and Injury Center and continued her work there while furthering her education at the Virginia School of Massage, a nationally accredited program. Graduating in 2008, she looked to relocate and found the Advanced Wellness Centre in Richmond, Virginia.
In addition to massage, Sarah also appreciates being outdoors. She enjoys hiking on trails with her dog, camping, and snowboarding. She also plays volleyball locally, a sport in which she excelled in high school.
While she thoroughly appreciates all the patients with whom she interacts as well as the opportunities afforded to her through massage, she is excited to pursue her education even further by acquiring a doctorate in physical therapy.
We are happy to have Sarah and her knowledge of massage, biology, and chiropractic medicine as a part of our team here at the Advanced Wellness Centre.
